Thanksgiving Weekend Sales Look Good
Retailers have not had much to look forward to the last couple years, but if the remainder of the holiday shopping season is anything like this past weekend, the future is a little less dim.
An estimated 212 million people took to the stores following Thanksgiving. That’s a substantial jump from 195 million in 2009 and the highest number of Thanksgiving weekend shoppers since 2004, the first year for this survey.
