New App Offers In-Store Price Comparison
A new application for the iPhone allows Amazon to lure customers from inside bricks-and-mortar stores. Customers can scan a bar code on a product, take a picture, or simply say the name of the product and the app performs a quick search to see if Amazon has it at a better price.
If Amazon does have the product cheaper, it can be purchased and shipped to the customer’s home.
